Job Summary
  • Manage DCC’s Insurance coverage by including all staff in the insurance plan and ensuring that the company purchases enough insurance to prevent financial loses in the event of a claim.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive and analyses health reimbursement files staff before transmission to the insurer for payment.
  • Responsible for opening a day-to-day claims files as soon as they occur.
  • Follow up of claims until payment (determination of the guarantee impacted during the incident, collection of the necessary elements for payment and transmission of the file to the insurer for payment).
  • Establish and maintain a strong link between insurers, DCC and the headquarters.
  • Perform "Induction Insurance" to all new recruits.
  • Respond to various requests from headquarters regarding risk cover in place.
  • Provide technical support to the various centers of interest of the company, particularly with regard to their different exposures to insurable risks.
  • Respond to all staff concerns regarding insurance.
  • Provide strategic plan and information on the local insurance market.
  • Sends monthly insurance report to the head office.
  • Verify pending claims files (with the transport department).
  • Provide training to staff on insurance services through grouped mails.
  • Put in place a new process for the renewal of the insurance policy before it comes to an end.
  • Analysis of existing safeguards and vulnerability research.
  • Negotiate the new technical and commercial renewal conditions.
  • Present the debit notes and summary notes to headquarters for validation.
  • Ensure the payment of premiums before the guarantee takes effect (see article 13 of the CIMA code)
  • Sends various signed documents to insurers.
  • Analysis of the state of ill-health with the broker and discuss on appropriate measures to be taken to balance the technical result of the said policy.
  • Receive the Willis Towers Watson expert from London for the annual visit of the factory.
