Job Summary:
This role is responsible for developing export strategies, managing international client relationships, and driving revenue growth across key global markets. A results-driven and globally minded Export Manager – Sales & Marketing will lead our international sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute export sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Identify and develop new international markets and distribution channels.
- Manage relationships with international clients, distributors, and trade partners.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, documentation, and logistics.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform pricing and positioning.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and business forums.
- Monitor export performance metrics and prepare regular sales reports.
- Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with overseas clients.
- Drive brand visibility and marketing campaigns in target export markets.
Skills, Qualification And Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of international trade laws, export documentation, and INCOTERMS.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinking with a strong commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with FMCG export operations is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or related field.
- Master’s degree or professional certifications in Export Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 7–12 years of experience in export sales, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
