Performance Management Specialist

Job Title/ Position: Performance Management Specialist

Reports To: Head, Talent Management

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

 

Job Summary

The Performance Management Specialist is responsible for coordinating and enhancing the organization’s performance management framework to ensure alignment between individual, departmental, and organizational goals. The role supports performance culture initiatives, KPI governance, and performance analytics.
 
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities
 
•    Coordinate organization-wide performance management cycles and activities.
•    Monitor KPI setting, reviews, and appraisal compliance.
•    Provide guidance to employees and managers on performance management processes.
•    Analyze performance data and provide insights to management.
•    Support development and review of performance management policies and frameworks.
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the performance management process.
•    Prepare reports and dashboards on appraisal and performance outcomes.
•    Partner with HR teams to support employee development and performance improvement plans.
 
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience
    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.
    Relevant HR or performance management certifications are an advantage.
    Minimum of 4–7 years of experience in performance management, HR analytics, or talent management.
 
Functional Competencies
    Strong knowledge of performance management systems and frameworks.
    Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
    Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory capability.
    Good communication and facilitation skills.
    Attention to detail and process improvement orientation.
    Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
