Job Summary

Dangote Cement Plc is looking for motivated professionals who will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and support of Dangote Cement Plc's Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). The role ensures the integrity, accuracy, security, and availability of HR data while providing system support to HR users and employees.

The incumbent will support HR digital transformation initiatives, process automation, workforce analytics, reporting, and continuous improvement of HR technology solutions across the organization.

Location: Lagos, Nigeria (with support responsibilities across all Dangote Cement Plc locations)

 


Key Duties and Responsibilities

HRIS Administration

  • Administer and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including SAP SuccessFactors and related HR applications.
  • Configure and update employee records, organizational structures, workflows, and system parameters.
  • Ensure optimal system functionality and performance.
  • Monitor system issues and coordinate timely resolution with IT and external vendors.

Data Management and Integrity

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS.
  • Conduct regular audits and validation checks to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage bulk data uploads, data migration, and data cleansing activities.
  • Support master data governance and data quality initiatives.
  • HR Reporting and Analytics
  • Generate periodic and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards.
  • Prepare workforce analytics on headcount, turnover, recruitment, employee movements, absenteeism, and organizational trends.
  • Support management decision-making through accurate HR data analysis.
  • Maintain standard HR metrics and reporting templates.
  • Process Automation and System Enhancement
  • Support automation of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, learning, performance management, and employee lifecycle transactions.
  • Identify system improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements.
  • Participate in HRIS implementation, upgrade, and optimization projects.
  • Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new functionalities.
  • User Support and Training
  • Provide first-level support to HR users and employees on HRIS-related issues.
  • Investigate and resolve system-related inquiries and troubleshoot user problems.
  • Develop user manuals, training materials, and process documentation.
  • Conduct end-user training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Compliance and Security
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information.
  • Adhere to company policies, audit requirements, and data protection regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation of HRIS processes and system changes.
  • Support internal and external audit activities related to HR data and systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Liaise with HR Business Partners, Payroll, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to support HR operations.
  • Work closely with system vendors and consultants on issue resolution and system enhancements.
  • Support HR projects requiring data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

 

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Certification.
  • CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI certification.
  • HR Analytics Certification.
  • Microsoft Power BI or Data Analytics certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in HRIS administration, HR operations, HR analytics, or HR technology support.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HRIS platforms.
  • Experience managing HR databases, reporting, and employee data management.
  • Exposure to HR system implementation or enhancement projects will be an added advantage.
