The CNG Instrumentation Technician is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems at CNG stations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation devices such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on CNG instrumentation systems.
  • Troubleshoot faults in control loops, sensors, actuators, and related wiring.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of PLC, SCADA, and control panels related to CNG systems.
  • Assist in commissioning, shutdowns, and system upgrades at CNG stations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration logs, and inspection reports.
  • Comply with HSE policies and ensure safe work practices at all times.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure smooth station operations.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • OND in Electrical Engineering or related field. .

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in CNG, gas processing, or petrochemical facilities.

  • Strong knowledge of process control systems, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.

  • Proficient in the use of calibration tools, meters, and testing equipment.

  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards.
