CNG Instrumentation Technician

The CNG Instrumentation Technician is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems at CNG stations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation devices such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on CNG instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot faults in control loops, sensors, actuators, and related wiring.
- Support the operation and maintenance of PLC, SCADA, and control panels related to CNG systems.
- Assist in commissioning, shutdowns, and system upgrades at CNG stations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration logs, and inspection reports.
- Comply with HSE policies and ensure safe work practices at all times.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure smooth station operations.
Qualifications and Experience

OND in Electrical Engineering or related field. .

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in CNG, gas processing, or petrochemical facilities.

Strong knowledge of process control systems, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.

Proficient in the use of calibration tools, meters, and testing equipment.

Familiarity with safety and quality standards.
