JOB SUMMARY

Receiving and issuing of materials in the store, documentation and record keeping, racking of materials received.  

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Receive materials suppled by the vendors as per approved purchase order. 

  • Ensure correctness in the quality, quantity, specification and condition of the materials received from vendor. 

  • Storing of materials received from vendor properly to ensure easy access identification, verification, and handling. 

  • Ensure smooth issuance of materials to the issuing department. 

  • Ensure accurate accounting of all the materials received and issued. 

  • Monthly stock count 

  • Maintain the neatness and tidiness of the store house. 

  • Compile reports on various aspects of changes in inventory. 

 

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS  

  • Good Accounting background and knowledge of banking transaction  

  • Excellent Reasoning and Decision-Making ability. 

  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills (oral and written)  

  • Managerial and Leadership skills 

  • Report writing and record keeping. 

  • Analysis and Interpretation of result 

  • Ability to work without supervision. 

  • Good Negotiation skills 

  • Database Administration 

  • Planning and Organizing skills. 

  • Procurement Management and Supplier Management skills 

 

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE  

  • HND/ B.Sc. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field 

  • 2-5 years of experience in warehouse & store management. 

  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
