 JOB SUMMARY

 

  1. Responsible for ensuring all products meets internal and external requirements as well as exceeds customer expectation within allocated budget.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure the QC operations team meets and/or exceeds performance standards and/or goals defined by management     .
  2. Manage the development and implementation of activities to maximize efficiency of staff and resources to support operational objective ensure safety standards and cleanliness of the laboratory are maintained.
  3. Determine staff training needs, coordinate, and provide appropriate training, certification, recertification and coaching responsible for undertaking operations necessary for quality testing within quality control.
  4. Ensure all QC instruments / methods / equipment are adequately validated, maintained, and calibrated.
  5. Supports and ensures effective, cross-functional teams that accomplish project objectives on a prescribed schedule and with a prescribed budget interpret test results, compare to established specification and control limit effective implementation of food safety management system overseeing processes such as non-conformance material, incoming and outgoing inspection, return material authorization, calibration, QC test to support release, characterization and stability testing of raw materials, production intermediates and final goods

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

 

  1. B.sc/HND Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science/Tech. or other related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience.
