Export Sales Officer

Deliver profitable Sales volume to the Company by exploiting the export market in Congo DRC, Burundi, Zimbabwe and Malawi. 

  • Provide Insights to support the development of Annual Export Sales Plan and Budget
  • Consistently deliver monthly Sales Targets within approved across all assigned Markets.
  • Own Business Development in export markets to ensure a strong Sales leads pipeline.
  • Identify Export Opportunities by perfectly understanding Cement & Clinker Export Compliance Requirements
  • Monitor, review provide feedback to Sales & Marketing Team on Customer Performance to drive Volume support
  • Analyze, Track and report customer performance and develop the right tactical and strategic interventions to deliver business goals.
  • Follow up Customer Volume, Measure Customers' Progress, asking always for more Volumes
  • Take full ownership of all Export Processes, including early returns of ASD/Custom Clearing Documents returns.
  • Report accurate information about the Markets, Market dynamics, Customer buying behavior, Competitor & Competition moves in the allocated Markets
  • Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Key Requirements

Education and Work Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or related field
  • Member of Zambia Institute of Marketing
  • Five (5) yrs of Field Sales experience in export Market
  • Three years of which should be in a supervisory role
  • Strong communication skills in French & English – Swahili is an added advantage.
  • Previous Technical and Business Development background will be added advantage
  • Hands on Experience in Sales & Marketing in FCMG, Manufacturing or Commodities environment
  • Skilled in Relationship building & Management

  • Good in Excel & Power Point office tools Management & Problem Solving
