Job Summary
- Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the architectural aspects of various construction and renovation projects within the Dangote Group. This role will involve collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the architectural designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements, while adhering to budgetary and regulatory standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and present architectural designs and plans for buildings and facilities.
- Ensure all designs comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers to establish project timelines and deliverables.
- Oversee the construction process and ensure that the project is executed according to architectural plans.
- Conduct site assessments and analyze project requirements to inform design decisions.
- Work closely with other architects and engineering teams to integrate functional and aesthetic considerations.
- Review and approve construction documents, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and construction teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Professional licensure or certification in architecture is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
Skills and Behaviors
