Job Summary

The CCTV Officer at Dangote Cement Transport  is responsible for monitoring all activities through CCTV coverage to ensure the safety and security of company assets and personnel. This role involves analyzing surveillance footage, reporting incidents, and collaborating with security teams to maintain a secure working environment.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor live CCTV feeds to observe for any suspicious or unauthorized activities.
  • Analyze recorded footage as required for incident investigations.
  • Document and report any security breaches or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure all CCTV cameras are functioning properly and report any technical issues for maintenance.
  • Conduct regular checks and maintenance of CCTV equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with security officers and law enforcement to respond to security incidents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of surveillance data and reports.
  • Provide insights on potential improvements or upgrades for the CCTV system.
  • Assist in training new staff on CCTV operational standards and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with established security protocols and industry regulations.

 

Education and Work Experience Skill.

  • Preferred: B.Sc./HND  in Computer Science, Information Technology, Criminology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CCTV operations or security surveillance.
  • Proficient in using surveillance technologies and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to respond effectively to security incidents.
