Job Summary
The CNG Electrical Technician at Dangote Cement Transport Obajana is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems related to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) operations. The role involves ensuring the electrical integrity of CNG equipment, performing routine checks, and troubleshooting electrical issues to ensure efficient operation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for CNG facilities and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and components to identify issues.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and electrical repairs.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to improve system efficiency.
- Assist in the development of preventive maintenance plans.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and outages.
- Ensure proper upkeep of tools and work area hygiene.
Qualifications & Experience
- B. Eng, HND , ND in Electrical Engineering
- Trade Test Certification (Electrical)
- Certification in industrial electrical systems is an added advantage
- 3–5 years experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Experience with motors, control panels, MCCs, and generators
