Job Summary

To ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all driving and vehicle tracking data within the control tower environment, enabling effective decision-making, safety, and regulatory adherence.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor real-time driving data from telematics and tracking systems.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal standards (e.g., road safety, data protection laws), and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Conduct periodic audits of driver logs, vehicle usage, and trip records.
  • Manage centralized monitoring of fleet performance, including speed, route adherence, idle time, and fuel consumption.
  • Flag and escalate data anomalies, non-compliance, or breaches of safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with fleet managers, drivers, and compliance officers to resolve issues.
  • Identify unsafe driving patterns (e.g., harsh braking, over-speeding, fatigue indicators).
  • Recommend corrective measures and training for drivers.
  • Support incident investigation by providing accurate historical data.
  • Generate compliance dashboards and KPIs (e.g., driver compliance scorecards, fleet utilization reports).
  • Provide insights into management for decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity in reports used for regulatory filings.
  • Collaborate with IT to enhance data tracking tools and compliance automation.
  • Stay updated on new transport regulations, standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Develop best practices for data-driven fleet and driver management.

 

 Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree / HND in Operation Management, Logistics Chain, Business Administration or related field. Msc is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 – 8 years of experience in safety management, with a focus on data analysis and dashboard creation.
  • Proven experience in process optimization and productivity improvement.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in productivity tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, ERP systems, NOVA, SAP).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance standards.
  •  Experience with telematics, GPS tracking, and fleet management systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to data accuracy and integrity.
