Fleet Officer (Inbound)

Job Summary:

The Fleet Officer Inbound Operations supports the effective administration and management of the fleet logistics operations by ensuring prompt delivery of raw materials and other supplies to the production facilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage inbound transport operations to ensure timely arrival of materials at production facilities.
• Monitor fleet performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of transport routes, schedules, and deliveries.
• Ensure availability of fleet Trucks and proper maintenance schedules are adhered to.
• Train and manage drivers, ensuring that they adhere to best practices in safety and operational efficiency.
• Resolve any issues related to fleet operations in a timely manner.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet performance and logistics activities for management review.

Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree / HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems,or  in Transportation Management.
• Minimum of five (2) years of experience in fleet management or inbound logistics operations.
• Professional certification in fleet management is a plus.

Skills and Behaviors:

• Proficient in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
