Tracking Officer

Job Summary

The Tracking Officer at Dangote Cement Transport  is responsible for ensuring the efficient management and monitoring of vehicle logistics and transportation operations. This role requires the use of advanced tracking systems and software to monitor the movement of goods and provide real-time updates.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate tracking systems to monitor vehicle locations and movements.
• Generate comprehensive reports on vehicle operations and logistics performance.
• Address any irregularities or issues with vehicle deliveries and report findings to management.
• Coordinate with drivers and logistics personnel to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Use data analysis to improve tracking efficiency and logistics operations.
• Route mapping to determine the exact CNG / AGO to be issued for all destinations
• Reporting of any illegal activity carried out with company trucks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics or tracking operations.
• Familiarity with tracking software and tools, as well as excellent data analysis skills are essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and capable of analytical thinking.
