Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Officer responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization to ensure the highest level of financial integrity and compliance. The Finance Officer will be tasked with overseeing daily financial activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting budgeting and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.


Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial activities and support internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support operational objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Sectional Heads.

Requirements

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.

Skills And Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
