OVERALL, PURPOSE/ OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB |
|
Oversee the maintenance and operation of the Boiler, daily supervision to the operation activities to reduce downtime, eliminate fuel consumptions, and will ensure more professional boiler operations. |

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS |

1. |
|
Supervises the Maintenance and overhauling of start-up pumps feed water pumps make up pumps and LPFO Pumps |
|
2. |
|
Supervises the maintenance of steam and water valves in boiler house and steam chest (Distribution, Heater) |
|
3. |
|
Supervises the maintenance and overhauling of air fluid devices (i.e ID & FD Fans). |
|
4. |
|
Supervises the proper maintenance of all bagasse’s handling devices (both bolt and drag chain conveyors) |
|
5. |
|
Supervises the proper maintenance of all boiler gear boxes and ensure proper and healthy operations when in use. |
|
6. |
|
Prepares accurate material(spares) requisition and proper usage of the same: ensuring proper material flow |

JOB SPECIFICATION/ REQUIREMENTS |

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT |
Minimum of HND/ B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering |

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION |
COREN, NSE or any relevant Professional Certification. |
|
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED |
Minimum of 5 years on Boiler Operations. |
