Boiler Mechanical Incharge
Job Summary
The Boiler Mechanical In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the mechanical integrity, maintenance, and performance of all boiler systems within the cogeneration plant. This role ensures the boilers are operated and maintained safely, efficiently, and reliably in compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and operational goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise daily mechanical operations and inspections of boiler systems

Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures, leaks, and abnormal conditions

Review boiler efficiency and implement improvement measures

Ensure availability of critical spares and materials for boiler maintenance

Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and industry standards

Lead commissioning, shutdown planning, execution, and maintenance activities etc

Coordinate with operations, electrical, and I&C team for integrated operation and maintenance.

Prepare and maintain detailed reports on operation, inspections, breakdowns, and maintenance.

Train and supervise junior staff, including assistants and technicians.
Educational Qualification and Work Experience

B.Sc. HND or any equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

Professional Certification is an added advantage. (Certification in Boiler Operation & Maintenance preferred)

Minimum 15 years in boiler maintenance and operation in cogeneration or thermal power plants, with at least 7 years in a supervisory or lead engineer role
