 Job Summary

A plumber specializing in drip irrigation systems would be responsible for welding HDPE pipes, installing, maintaining, and repairing these systems. This includes tasks like selecting appropriate components, laying out the system, and ensuring efficient water distribution to plants. They also troubleshoot issues, repair and fix leakages, and perform winterization procedures. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure proper water pressure and flow rates throughout the system.
• Installation of pipes, tubing, irrigation timers, controllers and other system components according to design plans.
• Ensuring proper operations and maintenance of the drip irrigation system.
• Troubleshoot and repair problems with emitters, tubing, valves, and other components. 
• Regularly inspect systems for leaks, blockages, and other issues.
• Replace damaged or worn parts.
• Installing both HDPE and PVC piping network.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• SSCE, ND or HND in any course.
• Technical experience in any kind of plumbing job.
• Basic knowledge of the use of HDPE welding machine is an added advantage.
• Minimum of (2) years of experience in related field.
