 Job Summary

To engage the service of an experienced Mechanical Shift in charge whose role is to ensure that plant equipment functions reliably, efficiently, safely, and satisfactorily by ensuring upkeep of all power plant equipment through adherence to standards and industry best practices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

·       Executes the jobs informed by the operation team in the shift entrusted for smooth operation of the plant.

• Executes the jobs informed by the operation team in the shift entrusted for smooth operation of the plant
• Maintaining the history cards of all equipment in the sections and keeping track of maintenance activities attended.
• Maintaining and ensuring optimal performance of all equipment of the plant and achieving Power Generation as per target by adopting and initiating necessary actions and corrective measures.
• Shall report to the Assistant Mechanical in Charge Power Plant any events of Mechanical Equipment complications.
• Prepares the annual expenditure budget for the Mechanical section and analyze the variance (Budget Vs Actual) & imitate necessary effective control measures.
• Maintaining and ensuring safety in all activities of operation and Maintenance.
• Accountable for the adoption of SOP during operation & maintenance.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• Shall hold the minimum of B-Tech/BE/BSc / HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• COREN, NSE or Any related professional qualification.
• Certificates on Sugar Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in any power plant, with preference for Bagasse Based Power plant experience (or any other related field)
