Site Support Manager

Site Support Manager – DSR Numan, Adamawa State.

Summary:-

The Site Support Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and monitoring all non-core operational support services at the DSR Numan site. The role provides overall oversight for estate and facilities management, administration, security operations, clinic and medical services, school operations, and estate canteen support to ensure safe, efficient, compliant, and reliable site operations.

Key role & responsibiliy:-

Estate and Facilities Management:-

  • Manage all DSR Numan facility operations, including residential and office buildings, operational centres, utility plants, and site amenities.
  • Monitor utility consumption for water, power, and fuel, and drive cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Oversee allocation, maintenance, and tenancy administration of company-owned residential and commercial properties.
  • Ensure estate common areas, roads, streetlights, perimeter boundaries, drainage systems, and parks are properly maintained.
  • Maintain property inventories, records, lease agreements, and occupancy tracking for company housing.
  • Serve as the escalation point for resident inquiries, tenancy compliance matters, maintenance requests, and occupant welfare concerns.

Administration:-

  • Lead the delivery of daily administrative support services, including office services, mail and courier distribution, printing, and stationery management.
  • Oversee site staff movement logistics in terms of flight tickets and provision of light vehicles and buses.
  • Coordinate hospitality, protocol, guest house operations, and accommodation arrangements for visiting personnel and external dignitaries.
  • Ensure administrative records, inventory controls, asset registers, and central document archives are properly maintained.

Security Management:-

  • Lead site security planning, access control, visitor management, and perimeter defence arrangements.
  • Supervise contracted security personnel and maintain coordination with internal security leadership.
  • Ensure effective monitoring of CCTV, electronic access controls, intrusion detection systems, and security communication networks.
  • Lead and document investigations into security incidents, breaches, theft, and misconduct, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain working relationships with law enforcement, military, community security groups, and government intelligence agencies to support site peace and security.

Clinic and Medical Services:-

  • Provide administrative leadership for clinic operations, staffing coordination, budget administration, and logistics support.
  • Work with the Head of Medicals to ensure availability of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, emergency equipment, and other clinic resources.
  • Ensure clinic operations comply with healthcare regulations, occupational health standards, sanitation protocols, and medical waste requirements.
  • Coordinate emergency medical evacuation arrangements, ambulance operations, and referral network protocols.
  • Support and oversee health awareness programmes, occupational health screenings, and fitness-to-work certification in collaboration with HSE and HR.

School Operations:-

  • Provide administrative oversight for company-owned or managed primary and secondary schools within the site.
  • Coordinate with the Headmaster and Principal on administrative, financial, facility, safety, and logistics requirements.
  • Ensure school buildings, grounds, playgrounds, transportation arrangements, and security protocols are properly maintained and monitored.
  • Ensure compliance with national education regulations, health and safety codes, and corporate child protection policies.
  • Coordinate and monitor emergency drills, medical response plans, and facility upgrade projects for school premises.

Qualifications:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Estate Management, Facilities Management, Public Administration, Security Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certification in facilities management, administration, security management, occupational health and safety, or project management will be an added advantage.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.

Experience:-

  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in administration, facilities management, estate operations, security coordination, or site support services.
  • Experience managing support services in a large industrial, manufacturing, estate, or multi-site operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising service providers, contractors, administrative teams, and cross-functional support operations.
  • Experience coordinating security, medical, school, housing, transport, and general administrative services will be an added advantage.
