Tyre Manager
Job Summary
Execute all tyre record within established time frame through shared instructions from Transport Manager. Must be good in Excel and other SAP ERP like Transport management solution, Plant Maintenance & Material Management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Must ensure company policy on tyre life (80,000) km per tyre change is respected and enforced.
- Report on daily intervention work and all related tire issues to Head of transport.
- Report the work for daily interventions, handled and receive the review comments of Head of Transport, for improving the work execution.
- Effective handling Tyre consumption and submitting details for the daily records and stores issuance for effective utilization.
- Reporting faulty tyres allocated to trucks/machines.
- All tyres’ allocations are entered into trucks/trailer logbooks and such records are maintained.
- Such records include tyre size, make, serial number, date of last and current issuance etc.
Educational Qualification and Work Experience
- Minimum of HND or B.Sc. In Mechanical Engineering or any related Engineering courses.
- COREN or any other related technical certification.
- 10 years and above in related field.
