 Job Summary

The weight bridge officer operates and maintains the weighbridge, accurately weighing trucks and recording data for inventory and logistics. Manage traffic flow, issue weight tickets, and report discrepancies or safety issues. The person also generates reports and ensures compliance with site rules and safety standards.  

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Weight Recording:-Accurately Weigh vehicles (gross, tare, and net weight) and document data in software systems.
• Documentation: Issue weight tickets, verify waybills, and process delivery orders.
• Traffic Management: Direct drivers position vehicles correctly and manage site traffic flow. 
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure loads comply with legal limits, report discrepancies, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• Shall hold the Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Social Science or Engineering related courses.
• Any relevant professional certification is an added advantage
• Minimum of 3 Years hands-on experiences in weighbridge management in a manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and Microsoft words.
