OVERALL, PURPOSE/ OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB |
Ensure all maintenance and repair in workshop and field are properly done. |

Evaluate all maintenance work to ensure that work is performed within established time frames through PM module reports and fleet tracking reports. |

Oversee all Superintendents day to day target performance and report the efficiency tracking to department HOD. |

Keep a very good equipment number for operation at field and factory cane yard. |

Closely follow and monitor all workshop activities and different type of maintenance. |

Oversee the unresolved problems quickly, troubleshoot maintenance problems and recommend corrective action. |

Complete review of daily intervention and breakdown report from all Superintendent and submit for the final comments of the HOD. |

Coordinate incoming work with existing workload, ensure compliance with maintenance, reliability and inspection requirements. |

Monitoring the spares consumption daily records and store issuance to ensure the effective stock utilization, approving the OEM spares and responsible for quality handling of all spare parts with 100% usage. |

Perform random check on raising equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions before delivery from workshop |

Supervised inspection of all mechanical superintendents’/supervisor role on day-to-day activities and verify the team performance under the superintendents are maintaining the OEM recommended maintenance activities. |

Responsible for the section mechanical updates on the PM module and daily reports review comments to submit to the HOD as well as mechanical resource utilization report |

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT |
HND/B.Sc. degree mechanical engineering |
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION |
Any professional certification is an added advantage. |
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED |
5 to 7 years field operation, for machinery, harvesters and heavy machines maintenance and repair and troubleshooting in a similar job.
